About

We built the grounding first. The agents came after.

Aura is made by Shankh Labs: software Indian businesses run on, built in Surat.

Why we built Aura

We kept meeting good brands with the same problem. They had a product worth talking about, a clear sense of who they were, and no realistic way to say it consistently across five channels every week. The agency was slow. The intern was inconsistent. The AI tool was fluent and wrong.

The gap was never the writing. It was the grounding. Nobody had given the machine the facts it needed before asking it to be creative. So we built the grounding first: the Brand Guide, Visual DNA, and a structured industry knowledge base that is curated rather than scraped. The agents came after.

We built it for the Indian market first, because that is the market we know and the one generic tools understand worst. A festival calendar is not a footnote here, and a model trained mostly on American retail gets the tone, the timing and the payment norms wrong in ways that are obvious to your customer and invisible to the model.

What we hold to

Four things we are not willing to trade away

A person approves before anything ships

Two gates, always. We have no interest in a system that publishes to your audience without your consent.

Grounded beats fluent

We would rather the system say less and be right than produce confident, well written output about an industry it does not understand.

Your data stays yours

Your Brand Guide, catalogue and generated assets are isolated to your organisation and are not used to train anything for anyone else.

Cost is visible

AI spend is easy to hide and easy to run away with. Usage is tracked against a real allowance, and generation stops at the limit rather than surprising you.

Who runs on Aura

Built for teams with more channels than hands.

D2C and retail brands

A real catalogue, a festival calendar that matters, and more channels than the team can keep fed by hand.

For example

A jeweller's Dhanteras launch: six posts, three channels, the product worn rather than gifted because that is what sells here.

Why not just prompt a chatbot

What is different underneath.

You never explain the brand again

Before a word is written, Aura pulls together your Brand Guide, what your products look like and what works in your industry. Nobody retypes your company into a chat box.

Post six still looks like post one

Aura writes down the look of a campaign (camera angle, light, colours, layout) and every image follows it. That is what keeps a busy month looking like one brand.

Facts first, then words

An AI with nothing to go on invents a trend that sounds right. Aura works from curated knowledge of your industry, a dated record of what is trending and where it came from, and your region, then checks the work against your rules twice before you see it.

The wider system

One of three products that share what they know

Shankh Labs makes three products. Your brand lives in Aura; Hella and Nexus use it instead of keeping their own copy.

Aura

Marketing that runs itself, with you in control. The Brand Guide, product catalogue and industry knowledge, and the AI workers that turn them into published campaigns.

Hella

Every WhatsApp conversation, one shared inbox. Contacts, broadcasts and automations, answering from the same Brand Guide and catalogue Aura holds.

Nexus CMS

A website your own team keeps up to date. Connected to Aura, the products on your website are the ones your campaigns are written from.

Come and argue with us about your category

We would rather have a specific conversation about your industry than send you a brochure. Tell us what you sell and to whom.
